Fire resistance of reinforced concrete semi-continuous
hollow core deck structures at frame houses
Keywords: fire, fire resistance, semi-continuous slabs,
bearing capacity, ultimate strains.
The purposes of work are: to get fire resistance experimental data for
reinforced concrete semi-continuous hollow core deck structures at frame houses; to
determine failure mechanism and ultimate stress-strained state of
under standard-rate fire exposure; to work out design proposals for its fire resistance
evaluation.
Methods of research. The standard suite of frame fragments
with semi-continuous hollow core deck structures was used. The obtained data was
theoretically analyzed.
Obtained The standard and full-scale fire tests were conducted.
The fire resistance of semi-continuous hollow core deck reinforced
was studied and failure mechanisms were revealed. The calculation grillage beam model
for fire resistance assessment and stressedly-deformed criteria for
concerned structures.
Usage recommendations. Developed test procedures for fire resistance
assessment of full-scale frame houses fragments can be structures,
including various combinations of precast and cast-in-situ elements. The results of this
research are recommended to use
the Republic of Belarus in designing of fire resistant reinforced concrete semi-
continuous well as in educational process at relevant institutions.
Application. Engineering and construction organizations, higher educational
establishments.
